PS4 + Inverter + Monitor
Full PS4 gaming setup running off a 1000W inverter in the trunk, wired to a monitor in the rear seat. Works at idle.

The setup
Power inverter mounted in the trunk. PS4 Slim on top of it. Monitor mounted to the rear headrest area. Clean enough to not look insane. Barely.
What it took
- 1000W modified sine wave inverter wired directly to the battery
- 12 AWG ring terminals, inline fuse, proper grounding
- Monitor cable managed through the C-pillar trim
- PS4 Slim — chosen for lower heat output and smaller footprint vs the original
Reality check
It works. At idle the alternator handles the load without issue. The interior ambient lighting hits different with the monitor going in the back.
Not a daily thing. Obviously don’t drive with this running.
